Aboutthe Role
As the RME Planner, you will develop maintenance plans and schedules, screen APM work orders, audit equipment, estimate labor and materials, and collaborate with maintenance management, service technicians, and vendors to schedule proactive maintenance during available downtime windows. You will also ensure spare parts are ordered and maintained in stock for both planned and emergency repairs.
Key Job Responsibilities- Screen work orders and analyze scope requirements to schedule maintenance activities based on available resources, work criticality, and maintenance windows.
- Perform equipment audits to document job requirements, order spare parts for facility and material handling equipment, and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
- Plan reliability improvement projects and collect engineering drawings and technical specifications to maximize system efficiency and performance.
- Drive proactive maintenance programs that achieve 85% planned work targets while ensuring all activities derive from APM and are accurately closed in Amazon’s maintenance virtuous cycle.
- Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- 1+ years of experience using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling, and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities.
- Travel up to 15% of the time.
- 2+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler experience within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing or distribution industry, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with an enterprise asset management software suite.
- Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Salary: $31.00–$43.00 per hour, with sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Benefits include health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage;
