The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for leading all inventory accuracy, compliance, and control processes within a 1.8 million square foot high-volume distribution center. This role ensures inventory integrity across all departments including Receiving, Putaway, Picking, VAS, Returns, and Shipping.

The Inventory Control Manager develops and executes strategies that drive inventory accuracy, reduce shrink, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards. This role leads a team of inventory professionals and partners cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, Security, Finance, and IT to maintain operational excellence.

Developing and empowering a diverse team to meet and exceed operational goals is a key responsibility of this role. This role also leads proactively in a fast-paced environment and is essential in driving efficiency, maintaining safety protocols, and fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement to drive customer satisfaction.

  • Plan, organize, and delegate daily assignments, ensuring tasks align with financial goals and are completed efficiently.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily cycle counts, conduct physical audits, and maintain inventory records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track inventory adjustments, analyze and research discrepancies, and address root causes, using cycle count reports to inform decision-making.
