We are seeking a confident, experienced Program Manager to lead our adult day program serving individuals with I/DD. The position requires a strong leader who can make independent decisions, effectively manage staff, and ensure quality services for participants while maintaining compliance with agency policy.
The Program Manager is responsible for coordination, implementation, and continuous supervision of all aspects of Pass Resource Center community-based program including on site program, staff, and participants.
EssentialJob Duties
Manage all personnel assigned.
Ensure proper coverage, maintain staff client ratios.
Coordinate with HR on recruiting for program (Conduct initial orientation and ongoing educational training programs)
Conducts personnel evaluations in a timely manner.
Conduct site visits in community.
Work with Facilities Manager ensuring vehicles are taken in for maintenance.
Review and approve monthly activity schedules to ensure meaningful programming.
Ensure participant records are maintained including Case Magic.
Provides input for and controls program budget.
Maintains financial and other records.
Intervenes in consumer crisis situations, provides consumer counseling, as necessary.
Conducts intakes on new program applicants.
Consumer placement in appropriate settings.
Maintains continual dialogue with consumers, parents, care providers, and agencies.
Maintains knowledge of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed by consumers, including communication.
Arranges for special provision for the care and supervision, including health, safety, and guidance of consumers who have special needs.
Responsible for the overall safety of your program site.
Communicates with regulatory agencies.
Complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Acknowledge receipt of and respond when needed to correspondence deficiency notices or field reports in a timely manner.
Attend all management meetings, as required and requested.
Mandating reporting requirements for dependent and elder abuse, as required by WIC Section 15630(b).
Assumes duties of the Group Supervisor in his/her absence.
Punctual and regular attendance.
Minimum QualificationsMust be able to communicate effectively through verbal and written forms with a variety of people on different levels.
Must be able to read and write Standard English.
Must have knowledge of email use of computers and recordkeeping.
Demonstrate leadership skills, ability to make independent decisions, and solve problems effectively.
Must be able to read and write English and communicate at a level required for successful job performance.
Must be able to maintain First Aid/CPR (training available)
Must maintain valid CA Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Background Fingerprint Clearance
Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in psychology, social work or a related human services field. Minimum of one (1) year experience in the management of a human services delivery system. Or
Three (3) years of experience in a human services delivery system, including at least one (1) year in management or supervisory position and two (2) years of experience or training in one of the following:
a) Care and supervision of consumers in a licensed adult day program, or an adult health care facility.
b) Care and supervision of persons with developmental disabilities.

FLSA Status: Non Exempt, Full time, (40) forty hours per week
Work hours: 7:30 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
