Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, CA, is seeking a Production Technician 2 to join our team. This is a fast paced position that offers long term, consistent employment with a competitive benefits package, including Health, Vision, Dental, Life, and 401(k).

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour + $0 Differential. Shift /

Hours:

1st Shift;
Monday - Saturday @7:00am to 3:30pm, rotating days off, with two days off during the week.

As a Production Technician 2, you will be responsible for and rotate through a range of job duties, including but not limited to the following primary tasks:

• Emptying or Filling 55-gallon Drums
• Assembling, Packing, and Stacking boxes
• Wrapping Pallets with Shrink Wrap
• Operating Machinery
• Unloading Fruit from Trucks
• “Grading” or Sorting Fruit
• Labeling
• Ensuring Equipment is Functioning Safely
• Logging Activities Daily
• Setting up Production Area with Appropriate Materials
• General Cleaning

Notifies supervisor of unusual problems. Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP.

Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications. Participate in the yearly review of the food safety system. Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system. Responsible for Non GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.

Position reports to Shift Manager.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful.
