CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 or 3 Driver/Operators for our Pressure & Vacuum division at our Fort McMurray, AB location. Travel and accommodation are not offered for this position.

• Work alongside labourers operating and maintaining vacuum trucks, high‑pressure water equipment and various specialty tools.
• Spend 90% of your day outside the truck, boots on the ground.
• Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour‑intensive capacity.
• Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back.
• Ensure safety for all team members and property.
• Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision.
• Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
• Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment.
• Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs.
• Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time.

• Valid Class1 or Class3 license with no more than five demerits in the last three years.
• Driving manual transmissions (10, 13 or 18 speed) is required; must be able to pass CEDA’s driver assessment.
• Prior experience driving a vacuum truck is an asset.
• At least one year of operator experience in an industrial environment.
• CSO certification required.
• Confined Space and Fall Protection certification is an asset but not required; we will train you.
• Able to provide a negative result on a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and very good with a manual transmission.
• Safety‑focused when it comes to people and equipment.
• Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50pounds on a regular basis).
