Overview
The Modern Group is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant for its company headquarters in Beaumont, Texas. The Modern Group is a fast-growing company primarily in the oil and gas equipment manufacturing and rental industry. A degreed accountant is preferred, but a candidate with considerable accounting experience will also be considered. The Modern Group offers competitive compensation depending on experience and the position is benefit eligible with Life, Medical, Dental, 401k and much more.
QualificationsSkills must include:
- Proficient at excel - including pivot tables and v-lookup function
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Familiarity with accounting principles and ability to research
- Excellent communication and time management
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical skills for financial statement analysis
