Accounting Clerk

Connect Search is partnering with a growing organization to identify an Accounting Clerk to join their team near Beaumont, Texas.

This is a contract to hire opportunity that will be working 100% onsite.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and data. This position will primarily support the accounting team with data entry, invoice processing, coding, and entering financial information into the company’s accounting system.

• Accurately enter accounting and financial data into the company’s system
• Assist with coding and entering invoices for processing
• Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy
• Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining attention to detail
• Assist with accounts payable and general accounting functions as needed
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records
• Communicate with internal departments regarding invoice or coding questions
• Assist the accounting team with various administrative and accounting-related tasks

• Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!
• 1+ years of experience in Accounting or Administrative
• Accounting coursework, degree, or related education is a plus
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
• Ability to learn new accounting software and systems quickly
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
