Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counselors to help create a fun, safe, and supportive camp environment. Camp Counselors lead and participate in daily activities, supervise campers, and serve as positive role models. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and a genuine interest in working with children. Camp Counselors play a key role in ensuring campers feel included, supported, and engaged while having a memorable camp experience.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, enrichment, and outdoor play.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive environment for all students.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Monitor attendance and ensure accurate daily check-in/check-out procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and shared spaces.
Follow all school and program policies and procedures, including emergency protocols.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is highly preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passionate about working with children of various ages and backgrounds.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Must pass background checks and meet state/local licensing requirements.
Must be able to be outside in the Texas summer heat for limited periods of time.
