$8.50 Hourly

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The student will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting at the Thomas Stadium.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a current student of Beaumont ISD enrolled in a video broadcasting class
• Must be legal working ag

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and prepare correspondence
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Eye for detail; accuracy is imperative
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Produce camera footage
• Work with Final Cut Pro editing software
• Assist with the operation of the jumbotron
• Play music during pregame, postgame and half-time
• Produce announcements for upcoming events at both high schools.
  
  Uses mainframe computer (AS400), personal computer, printer, typewriter, copier, calculator, fax machine, decollator and burster

• Light lifting, light carrying, reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, repetitive hand motions
• Frequent bending and stooping
• Prolonged use of computer
