Joina high-performing orthopedic trauma team at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Beaumont, located just one hour east of Houston. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant towork alongside skilled orthopedic trauma surgeons in a high-acuity environmentmanaging a broad spectrum of orthopedic injuries.

The program treats complex orthopedic trauma cases including pelvis and acetabularfractures, bread-and-butter hand injuries, and routine pediatric fractures.

Providers will enjoy a collaborative team atmosphere, excellent support, and apredictable schedule with no after-hours call responsibilities.

Position Highlights
  • Practice at abusy Level II Trauma Center
  • High-acuityorthopedic trauma service
  • Exposure to:
    • Pelvis andacetabular trauma
    • Generalorthopedic trauma
    • Hand injuries
    • Routinepediatric fractures
  • APP coverageon-site daily from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Full-time schedule consists of 175 shifts annually
  • No after-hourscall responsibilities
  • Collaborativesurgical and inpatient care environment
Responsibilities
  • Round with theon-call orthopedic trauma surgeon
  • Evaluate andmanage new consults
  • Assist in the operating room
  • Participate ininpatient orthopedic trauma care
  • Coordinate patient management with multidisciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annualcompensation of $140,000
  • Additional shifts compensated at $800 per shift

Qualifications
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
  • Traumaexperience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable assisting in the operating room and managing inpatient orthopedic patients
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
