Pulmonologist

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join a new pulmonology service line in Beaumont, TX. This full-time opportunity involves launching a dedicated pulmonology clinic to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, including ICU, CCU, and general pulmonology services. The ideal candidate will work within a supportive, physician-led organization utilizing Epic EMR and advanced clinical resources.

• Christus Trinity Clinic is launching a new Pulmonology service line to provide ICU, CCU, Trauma, and general pulmonology services
• Dedicated pulmonology clinic supporting both inpatient and outpatient care

  Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Procedures Performed:
  Simple in-office procedures (e.g., spirometry); advanced procedures based on physician skillset (e.g., thoracentesis, bronchoscopy)
• Equipment Available:
  Potential access to PFT machine; advanced imaging (CT, PET) available at hospital;
  Lab/X-ray Access available downstairs from clinic
• EMR Systems:
  Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU, CCU, Trauma, and general pulmonology services
• Support both inpatient and outpatient care
• Perform simple in-office procedures and advanced procedures based on physician skillset

• Call Type: ER and clinic call (both inpatient and outpatient) (Critical care coverage handled by hospitalist group; ER call specific to pulmonology)

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Pulmonology
• Experienced (preferred)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required (preferred)
