Laborist OB​/GYN

Diana Health is seeking an OB/GYN Laborist to join their growing network in Beaumont, Texas. In this PRN inpatient role, you will provide high-quality obstetric and emergent gynecologic care within a collaborative, midwife-led model. The position offers focused, shift-based work without outpatient or administrative obligations, allowing you to partner with Certified Nurse Midwives and hospital teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Practice Info

• Hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecologic care
• Midwife-led model with 24/7 in-house CNM hospital coverage
• Dedicated, team-based inpatient support structure
• Inpatient setting without outpatient clinic responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house 24-hour labor and delivery coverage for 8 shifts per month
• Serve as physician backup and collaborator to in-house CNMs
• Manage high-acuity obstetric patients and perform cesarean deliveries as indicated
• Provide emergent and urgent gynecologic surgical care
• Support a team-based model prioritizing safety, communication, and patient-centered care
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation within the hospital EMR
• Collaborate with hospital staff to maintain quality and patient safety standards

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Trained in robotics
• Active DEA
• Licensed to practice in Texas upon start date
• Collaborative, patient-centered approach to care
