PURPOSE:

PAC Student Technicians will assist the PAC Manager will all technical aspects relating to productions within the assigned performing arts center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

* Must be a Beaumont ISD student

MAJOR

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

PAC Student Technicians will assist the PAC Manager will all technical aspects relating to productions within the assigned performing arts center. These duties may include, but are not limited to:

* Setup of all equipment, set pieces, and other PAC materials necessary for the production

* Assisting performers with all PAC equipment

* Running the sound board, light board, and other PAC technical equipment

* Striking all equipment, set pieces, and other PAC materials after each production

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Maintain emotional control under stress

* Work with frequent interruptions

Physical Demands

* Light lifting and carrying, reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, repetitive hand motions; frequent bending and stooping

* Prolonged use of computer

Environmental Demands

* Normal office environment

* May work prolonged or irregular hours

* Exposure to childhood communicable diseases; good general health and stamina needed
