The Phillip M. Drayer Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Lamar University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Electrical Engineering, beginning Fall 2026. Candidates are expected to develop a vigorous, externally funded research program and excel in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research, and the ability to attract external funding. This position does not provide visa sponsorship, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
