The Department of Biology seeks candidates qualified to teach courses at any level of instruction in the department curriculum. This is a part‑time, pooled position filled on an as‑needed basis.
- Teach courses at assigned times using current pedagogical methods, keeping accurate records of students’ grades.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with students, chair of the department, and composition director.
- Applicants should have an earned graduate degree in Biology or other relevant teaching discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.
- Able to lift 25 lbs and perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing, and walking between buildings.
- Indoor.
