This full-time, on-site role for Certified Elementary Teachers is located in Beaumont, TX. Educators in this role plan, deliver, and assess engaging standards-based lessons that support the academic and social-emotional growth of elementary students. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing instruction aligned with district curriculum, managing a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and using data to monitor and support student progress.
Teachers collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and administrators to differentiate instruction and provide targeted interventions or enrichment. The role also involves regular communication with families and caregivers, participation in professional learning, and adherence to district policies, procedures, and safety expectations.
- Strong foundation in Elementary Education and related fields, with knowledge of child development and age-appropriate instructional practices.
- Proficiency in teaching and classroom management, including the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Experience or skills in curriculum development, including planning, adapting, and integrating district curriculum and instructional materials.
- Effective communication skills for working with students, families, colleagues, and administrators in a collaborative school environment.
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Elementary Education (or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification within required timelines).
- Ability to use instructional technology and data systems to support learning, assessment, and progress monitoring.
- Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive teaching practices and to maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; prior classroom teaching experience in elementary grades is preferred.
