Trainer, Training Instructor ​/ Specialist

What you'll be doing:

As our Trainer, you’ll play a key role in welcoming new employees, leading hands-on and virtual training sessions, and creating helpful tools that make learning feel approachable, engaging, and practical. You’ll work closely with departments across the credit union to ensure every employee has the knowledge, skills, and support they need to succeed.

* Note:

This is not the primary trainer role, this position supports our Lead Trainer.

A day in the life might include:

• Designing and leading new hire training sessions that set the tone for great employee experience
• Updating procedures and creating job aids, videos, and eLearning modules that bring clarity and confidence
• Hosting refresher courses, cross-training opportunities, and role-specific education across departments
• Working with leaders to identify training needs and build programs that drive real results
• Making sure our digital learning content is easy to use, relevant, and always up to date
• Keeping track of training progress and participation…because details matter
• Have previous hands-on experience in teller operations, member service, and loan processing (this is required)
• Prior experience in training, education, or facilitation is preferred
• Enjoy connecting with people and helping them succeed
• Are comfortable presenting to both small and large groups, in-person and virtually
• Know your way around Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Canva, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Love organizing, planning, and bringing structure to new ideas
• Are ready to travel between branches and jump in wherever support is needed
