Teaching Assistant; College of Engineering

The Teaching Assistant supports faculty in the College of Engineering by assisting with instruction, grading, laboratory or classroom activities, and student learning. Responsibilities may include leading review sessions, holding office hours, answering student questions, preparing course materials, and maintaining course records. The Teaching Assistant works closely with faculty to promote a positive and effective learning environment while demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills.

• Assist faculty with undergraduate engineering courses by supporting classroom instruction, laboratory activities, and discussion sessions.
• Grade assignments, quizzes, exams, and laboratory reports while providing constructive feedback to students.
• Hold office hours to answer questions, explain course concepts, and provide academic support.
• Assist with course preparation, including developing instructional materials, maintaining course management systems, and organizing classroom resources.
• Proctor examinations and ensured compliance with academic integrity policies. Collaborated with faculty and instructional staff to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
