As an Operator, Beaumont Terminal, you will perform duties in support of the safe operation of a large products marine terminal, which includes truck and railcar loading and off-loading, tank farm operations, pipeline receipts, response boat operation, barge and vessel activity. The Terminal Operator will monitor MVCU (Marine Vapor Combustion Unit) operation and emissions for compliance within regulations. The position will work 12 hour rotating shift (DuPont schedule) with the potential for additional overtime as needed.

Located in a prime position along the Sabine-Neches Waterway in Nederland, Texas, the Beaumont Terminal is a gateway to the Gulf Coast. As the largest terminal in the Phillips 66 portfolio, it has 74 total tanks with shell capacity totaling 16.1 million barrels.

What You'll Do

* Ensure quality and quantity of refined products and/or crude oils.

* Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.

* Ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.

* Stay abreast of changes in operational requirements, policies and processes.

* Perform operational duties in accordance with the Terminal Operating and Procedures and Site-Specific Procedures.

* Comply with all internal and external policies and procedures.

* Respond to emergencies, maintaining emergency equipment and participating in emergency response training and exercises.

* Complete mandated safety and regulatory training (computer-based & instructor led training).

* Monitor controls and establish valve line-ups for pipeline delivery and receipts.

* Maintain effective and professional relationships with customers and respond promptly to their needs.

* Perform environmental and regulatory checks (eliminating, containing and reporting all product seeps and spills).

* Perform security and equipment facility rounds, minimizing downtime and unsafe conditions.

* Assist with new employee training.

* Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual inventory reconciliation including agency and other required reports.

* Perform Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work Permits, Excavation Permits, and Confined Space Entry permits for safe and effective execution of work.

Perform TPIC (Terminal Person In Charge) duties at the marine dock.

What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred

* Associate's degree or higher in process technology or other petroleum industry degree

* 1 or more years of experience in the petroleum industry

* 1 or more years of experience with the following:

* Allen-Bradley PLC's

* Magnetrol Transmitters

* Acculoads

* VRU (Vapor Recovery Unit)

* Working knowledge of marine terminals

* Working knowledge of refined products and/or crude oil quality specifications

* Working knowledge of mechanical and rotating equipment

* Working knowledge of process controls and oil movements

* Working knowledge of P&

Compensation

As of 5/1/2026, this position will have a base starting wage of $30.30 per hour. Future pay increases will be based on the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
