Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated PE Licensed Civil Engineer to join our team in Beaumont, TX. This position supports industrial EPC projects and requires strong field-based civil engineering expertise, including the ability to verbally discuss and sketch civil and structural solutions in the field while coordinating closely with construction teams.
Job Description- Perform civil engineering duties including site development, foundations, earthworks, drainage, concrete, and structural interface design for industrial facilities.
- Prepare and review civil design calculations, drawings, and specifications for concrete and steel structures.
- Provide real-time field engineering support, including verbal coordination with construction teams and sketching civil and structural solutions in the field as required.
- Support construction execution by resolving civil design issues encountered in the field.
- Interface with clients, suppliers, and contractors throughout all phases of engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines to ensure constructability and clash-free design.
- Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed civil design packages, including plans, sections, details, and basis of design documents.
- Apply civil engineering principles, standards, and codes (local, state, and industry-specific) to engineering deliverables.
- Review and approve civil material specifications, supplier submittals, and third-party testing reports.
- Support development of material take-offs (MTOs), cost estimates, and construction planning activities.
- Participate in site inspections, walkdowns, and technical meetings to support safe and efficient construction.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project quality standards.
- 5–10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably on industrial or EPC projects
- Strong field experience, including the ability to communicate and sketch civil/structural solutions directly at the job site
- Knowledge of civil systems including foundations, concrete, grading, drainage, and site development
- Proficiency with civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, RISA, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
- Active TWIC card is Required
