Fired Equipment Engineer

Our client, the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Fired Equipment Engineer to join their team. As a Fired Equipment Engineer, you will be part of the engineering support team supporting process operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Support operations by troubleshooting, optimizing, monitoring, and ensuring reliability of fired equipment

+ Plan and execute turnaround and downtime activities, including worklist development and inspection recommendations

+ Assist with capital projects, provide design consulting, technical quality assurance, and startup support

+ Respond to emergencies such as fire heater trips and unplanned outages to ensure safety and operational continuity

+ Analyze energy efficiency opportunities and implement improvements to optimize plant performance

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

+ 4-5 years of relevant experience in fired equipment engineering

+ Hands-on experience with process fired heaters, boilers, flares, and related systems

+ Deep knowledge of Burner Management Systems (BMS) and controls

+ Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate effectively with diverse teams
