Office Engineering Supervisor – Utility-Scale Solar PV / BESS Project

We are seeking an experienced Office Engineering Supervisor for a major utility-scale Solar PV / BESS renewable energy project in Texas.

This role requires a highly technical professional with proven experience coordinating office-based engineering support for EPC or Owner’s Engineer scopes. Candidates must have direct experience supporting engineering activities for Solar PV projects, preferably utility-scale projects, and must be able to manage engineering reviews, documentation control, and technical interfaces between office and site teams.

Important:
Candidates must clearly demonstrate experience in Solar PV / photovoltaic / solar panel / solar farm projects. General engineering, construction, manufacturing, IT, or non-solar project experience will not be considered sufficient unless the resume clearly shows direct support to Solar PV or BESS projects.

Coordinate office-based engineering support for EPC or Owner’s Engineer project scopes.

Support and manage engineering review processes for Solar PV and/or BESS project deliverables.

Review and track technical documentation, drawings, specifications, comments, and engineering deliverables.

Coordinate technical interfaces between office engineering teams, site teams, construction teams, commissioning teams, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders.

Support the management of technical queries, engineering comments, deviations, RFIs, submittals, and document review cycles.

Ensure engineering documentation is properly controlled, reviewed, updated, and distributed.

Follow up with engineering, construction, commissioning, document control, and QA/QC teams to close open technical items.

Support project execution by ensuring alignment between design documents, site activities, and project requirements.

Demonstrated experience as an Office Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Coordinator, Engineering Support Lead, Project Engineer, or similar role.

Direct experience supporting Solar PV / photovoltaic / solar farm / solar panel projects.

Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects, preferably Solar PV projects of large capacity.

Experience supporting EPC or Owner’s Engineer scopes.

Strong experience managing or coordinating engineering reviews.

Strong experience with engineering documentation control, including drawings, specifications, document revisions, transmittals, submittals, RFIs, TQs, and technical deliverables.

Ability to coordinate technical interfaces between site teams and office-based engineering teams.

Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering workflows, including civil, structural, electrical, commissioning, QA/QC, and document control.

Strong understanding of project documentation workflows, approval processes, revision control, and technical closeout tracking.

Solar PV projects with BESS integration.

EPC contractor coordination.

Owner-side or Owner’s Engineer support.

Design review and technical compliance verification.

Technical query management.

Engineering deviations and change management.

Interface between engineering, construction, commissioning, and document control.

Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, utility interconnection requirements, and Texas project requirements.
