Job Description
Hire a skilled HSE professional for the Beaumont location.
Responsibilities- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
- Maintain relevant HSE logs.
- Maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 documentations.
- Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
- Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
- Participate in detailed incident investigations and promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training.
- Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Manage environmental waste, wastewater, storm water, SARA reports, etc..
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or certified training in HSE field preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of HSE experience required.
- Must have a working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and industry standards (NFPA, ASME, ANSI, etc.) applicable to the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
- Excellent oral and presentation skills required.
- First aid, CPR and AED trainer preferred.
- Good analysis and reporting skills required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Spanish Bi-lingual preferred.
