Missions Of The Municipal Police Officer

The municipal police officer carries out administrative and judicial police missions within the Mayor's competence in terms of prevention and surveillance of public order, tranquility, security, and sanitation. In this capacity, you will intervene in various themes: ensuring mediation and prevention of delinquency, ensuring surveillance of neighborhoods and public places, regulating parking, managing crowds during events, managing found objects, capturing stray dogs, managing the impounding of abandoned vehicles, writing and transmitting professional documents with each intervention.

Coordination with other police and gendarmerie forces. In the course of your activity, your missions will be as follows: reporting to their superiors of all crimes, offenses, or violations of which they have knowledge, noting, in accordance with the orders of their superiors, offenses to the penal law and collecting all information to discover the perpetrators of these offenses, noting, by means of a report, violations of the road code (the list of which is fixed by decree no.

You organize your days autonomously and report directly to the DGS of your activity. You work Monday to Friday (hours to be defined) on a full-time position. Occasional work on weekends in case of events.

You have the status or obtained the competition allowing you to apply for the position of Municipal Police Officer. You are looking for a job that combines autonomy and responsibilities. You have a sense of public service and teamwork to coordinate your activity as well as internally and externally. You are able to report on your activity and work closely with the general management.

You are able to demonstrate pedagogy and are recognized for your ability to resolve conflicts, ease tensions, and find consensual solutions.
