Position Summary

The PAS Case Manager oversees ancillary programs such as Star+PLUS, Primary Home Care, Family Care, Community-Based Alternatives Program, MDCP, and Private Duty/Personal Assistance/Sitter Services
. This role ensures quality care for patients and families while maintaining compliance with agency policies and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all Personal Assistance Services/Community Care Program employees in planning and coordinating patient care per physician’s plan and state program guidelines.
• Assist with billing for ancillary program patients and ensure accuracy in scheduling and office coordination.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain complete and compliant staff files.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and agency policies.
• Conduct supervisory visits and document notes promptly.
• Communicate effectively with State program and MCO caseworkers regarding client issues.
• Hire, train, and in‑service quality staff; track unstaffed hours and hiring efforts.
• Participate in meetings, case conferences, and budget planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong knowledge of home care rules and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto liability insurance required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and agency‑specific software.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience & Education

• PAS Program management experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience or 2 years of college coursework.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to type 35 wpm with 80% accuracy.
