Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• May work until 5:00 PM or later based on case load and census
• No call during the week, weekend call if needed
• Float to other departments as required based on staff and census
• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Support other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems
• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser

Required:
Graduate of accredited Radiology Technology school
•
Required:
Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (N) by ARRT or NMTCB
•
Required:
Texas state licensure (MRT by TMB)
•
Required:
BLS certification (AHA only)
• Preferred: 1 year clinical nuclear medicine experience
• Basic computer experience required
