Phlebotomist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood sampling and specimen collection with a focus on patient care and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment, ensuring high-quality service to patients.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures for blood sampling with precision and care.
• Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection procedures.
• Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring a comfortable experience during the blood draw process.
• Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff to ensure proper handling and processing of specimens.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards in all laboratory procedures.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness of the work area.
• Stay updated on best practices in phlebotomy and participate in ongoing training as required.

• Proven experience in specimen collection processing, particularly venipuncture.
• Strong knowledge of physiology related to blood sampling techniques.
• Familiarity with clinical laboratory environments and hospital settings is preferred.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail and adherence to laboratory procedures is essential.
• Certification in phlebotomy or relevant training is highly desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
