What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and coordinate daily steel yard operations
• Supervise drivers, forklift operators, and yard personnel
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA, DOT, and company standards
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and equipment checks
• Manage inventory through cycle counts and audits
• Oversee receiving, staging, bundling, loading, and shipping of steel products
• Ensure forklifts and equipment receive proper inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs
• Monitor productivity and operational performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Partner with upper management to improve daily operations and efficiency

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of operations, warehouse, yard, or leadership experience
• At least 1 year of forklift experience (required)
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
• Valid driver's license
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
