Lumberyard Associate

Overview

84 Lumber is hiring for a full‑time Yard Associate. Pay starts at $16.50 per hour, DOE, for a 48‑hour week. Overtime is paid at time and a half. The position also includes a full suite of benefits: PTO, sick days, medical/dental/vision insurance, holiday pay, FSA, profit sharing, 401(k) with employer match, employee discounts, and more.

Location:

350 E 1st St, Beaumont, CA .

• Build loads for delivery and unload freight including lumber and building supplies.
• Operate forklift (training and certification required).
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
• Maintain lumber yard and warehouse; keep it safe, clean, and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information one‑on‑one.
• Periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

High school diploma or GED.
