Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site Electric Assembler role is based in the Houston area and supports Oil & Gas industrial machinery manufacturing operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling electrical components, wiring, and harnesses in accordance with technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. The role involves using hand and power tools, test equipment, and measuring devices to ensure proper installation, alignment, and functionality of electrical systems.
The Electric Assembler will inspect work for quality and safety, troubleshoot basic assembly issues, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. Please adhere to workplace safety standards, housekeeping practices, and company procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical assembly equipment used in industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of electrical components, wiring practices, and safe installation techniques in a production environment.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and safe work practices.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to follow standardized work instructions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams on the shop floor.
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, industrial machinery, or Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or industrial trades is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, and meet production deadlines as needed.
