We're looking for a community-minded professional who is passionate about connecting with people, strengthening relationships, and making a positive impact. In this role, you'll create engaging content that supports our brand, products, and financial education initiatives while delivering clear, accurate communications that strengthen member relationships and support organizational goals. You will also build community partnerships, support financial education initiatives, represent DuGood through presentations and outreach events, and help expand our positive impact throughout Southeast Texas.

• Create, edit, and distribute marketing communications across digital and traditional channels.
• Create and manage content across websites, email campaigns, print materials, internal communications, social media, and other marketing channels.

Assist in developing and refining marketing strategies to maintain brand relevance, regulatory compliance, and organizational objectives.

Maintain the credit union's content library to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail across all marketing and communication materials.

Capture and share stories, photos, videos, and testimonials that highlight DuGood's community impact.

Support school partnerships and financial education initiatives that promote financial well-being throughout the communities we serve.

Serve as a financial education ambassador by helping deliver workshops, presentations, and educational content to schools and community organizations.

Confidently represent DuGood through on camera appearances, presentations, workshops, community events, media appearances, and financial education programs.

Partner with departments across the credit union to support campaigns, events, communications, and strategic initiatives.

• Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment by sharing ideas, supporting team goals, and assisting with project execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or academic and equivalent work experience

1–2 years of experience in communications, copywriting, content development, marketing, public speaking, community engagement, or a related field required.

Experience creating content for websites, email campaigns, social media, and print communications.

Experience with Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar communication and design tools preferred.

Familiarity with digital communication platforms, social media channels, content management systems, and emerging communication technologies.

Past work with financial services, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, or community-based organizations preferred.

Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the confidence to engage audiences of all ages and represent an organization at community events, workshops, and public presentations.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and members.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

A drive to support the community through delivering financial education programming, promotional initiatives, workshops, and other community outreach activities.

Ability to travel locally and occasionally work evenings or weekends for community events and outreach activities.
