- Providing direct patient care to patients
- Supervising care treatment and services of patient care provided by CNA's
- Developing, implementing and evaluating an individual plan of care for each patient
- Following an individual plan of care for each patient
- Assessment and reassessment of patients
- Communicating appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team
- Reporting patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner
- Current Texas State licensure as a LVN
- CPR Certification (ACLS preferred)
Experience:
- One year experience in a comprehensive medical/surgical hospital setting preferred
- Critical care experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write adn comprehend English
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal arenas
- Ability to work independently without supervision
