** Beaumont, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badging, and monitor activity to help reduce security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and provide customer service while following site procedures.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.

+ Control access at entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials per site policy, and maintaining accurate access logs.

+ Monitor gates, doors, and access control systems, reporting irregularities and/or equipment issues according to post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documentation in line with site requirements.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, process areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Have a TSA issued TWIC.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
