Security Officer - Badge Desk Driver

Allied Universal - Up to $16.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.;
Staff access points and gatehouses to verify credentials, manage visitor check-in and check-out, issue temporary badges as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.;
Control vehicle and pedestrian entry using approved screening methods, conduct visual inspections of vehicles, packages, and deliveries as authorized, and coordinate with site contacts for entry approvals.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, staging zones, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and report maintenance or operational concerns through the proper channels.
