Thursday 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM;
Friday 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM;
Saturday 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document site access activity in accordance with client-specific protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including restricted access areas and key operational zones, as working environments may vary by location.
- Support security-related screening processes for personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries to help maintain controlled access and report unusual activity or policy violations.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the TSA is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
