Security Officer Access Control in Beaumont, TX

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)
• TSA Issued TWIC (C133)
• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, process visitors and deliveries, and report unusual activity through established security‑related channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access events, and incident details, and support Allied Universal and site management with requested documentation and follow‑up.

• 1+ years of security‑related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
