JOB DETAILS

Bridgefield Electric is actively recruiting for traveling and non-traveling APPRENTICE I and APPRENTICE II ELECTRICIANS who will perform the following job duties under the direct supervision a qualified electrician:

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance, of electrical systems
• Able to learn and/or assist in identifying and diagnosing electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
• Able to learn and/or assist is bending and threading cable runs and basic installations compliant with NEC
• Able to learn and/or assist in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
• Able to learn and/or test electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning
• Supports in the maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of electrical equipment and systems
• Ensure the work area and equipment is kept clean and safe
• Must maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations
• Additional duties may be assigned based upon job specific needs

REQUIRED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong aptitude and interest in electrical systems
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts and tools
• Possess above average problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn and develop industry specific
• High regard to performing work safely with respect to others including property and individual safety
• Must be able to communicate and work effectively as a team

The Following Qualifications is

Required:

• 1+ Years of Industrial Electrical Experience
• Valid Texas Apprentice License
• TWIC (for applicable sites)
• ISTC Basic + (or similar Safety Council)
