Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM Start Time
We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our Distribution team in Beaumont. This is a critical, hands‑on role responsible for safely moving steel material throughout our facility to support production and customer fulfillment.
This is a weekday position with a consistent 7:00 AM start, offering stability and routine for professionals who value steady work and predictable hours.

What You’ll Do
- Perform daily inspections of overhead crane systems, including pendulum controls, wire ropes, hooks, and accessory equipment
- Safely operate overhead cranes to move large, heavy, and uniquely shaped steel materials
- Verify material identification, tag numbers, and heat numbers before movement
- Calculate material weights and select appropriate crane capacity for safe handling
- Coordinate wth riggers to properly secure loads prior to movement
- Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and clearly communicate before moving material
- Report equipment issues, unusual noises, or operational concerns immediately
- Support inventory accuracy through stock checks and physical counts
- Participate in ongoing safety training and team meetings
- Assist in training and mentoring teammates as needed

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently on a routine basis and handle materials safely as part of daily job duties.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain safe body positioning while performing tasks and moving through the work area, including walking on concrete floors and uneven surfaces.
- Frequent squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting, requiring full‑body mobility, balance, and upper- and lower‑body strength to perform work safely.
- Manual agility to operate tools safely and effectively, with regular use of arms, shoulders, and back for lifting, reaching, and positioning tasks.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
