- Supervise and lead crews performing industrial fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and fire suppression system installations, repairs, inspections, and testing
- Install, modify, and service large-scale fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, ESFR, clean agent, foam, kitchen hood, and special hazard suppression systems
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, and service industrial fire alarm systems including control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and monitoring interfaces
- Install, modify, and service underground fire water systems and components
- Read and interpret industrial blueprints, P&IDs, fire protection drawings, and fire alarm riser diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, local AHJ requirements, and customer specifications
- Perform system testing, flushing, hydrostatic testing, fire alarm acceptance testing, and final inspections
- Troubleshoot system deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions for sprinkler, alarm, and suppression systems
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor productivity
- Coordinate with plant managers, safety personnel, inspectors, monitoring companies, and other trades
- Enforce site-specific safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate documentation, inspection reports, testing records, and as-built drawings
- Manage tools, materials, lifts, and equipment required for industrial job sites
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and/or fire suppression system installation and service
- Proven experience in a foreman or lead position
- Strong knowledge of industrial fire protection systems, fire alarm systems, suppression systems, and high-hazard occupancies
- Ability to read complex drawings, riser diagrams, and perform system layout
- Working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 72, NFPA 17, NFPA 17A, and other applicable fire codes
- Experience working in active industrial facilities and shutdown environments
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a background check
- NICET Level II in ITM of Water Based Systems (preferred/required)
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification preferred
- State sprinkler inspector license - Texas and/or Louisiana
- Fire alarm license or suppression system certifications preferred
- OSHA 30 strongly preferred
- Confined Space, Lift, or Industrial Safety training a plus
- TWIC card
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights, on lifts, and around industrial machinery
- Ability to work in hot, cold, or noisy environments
- Willingness to work off-shifts, shutdowns, or overtime as required
