We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a structural welding role. Responsibilities- Perform structural welding and fabrication work according to project specifications, drawings, and instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical documents.
- Measure, cut, fit, align, and assemble metal components with accuracy.
- Use welding equipment and related tools in a safe and effective manner.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable industry regulations.
- Experience in structural welding or related metal fabrication work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Proficiency with common welding processes used in structural applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may include standing, lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
- Current welding certifications or the ability to obtain them.
- Experience with structural steel, beams, columns, and related assemblies.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and rigging practices.
- Familiarity with shop and field welding environments.
