Diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues
Communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needed
Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a diesel mechanic training program or apprenticeship preferred
ASE certification in diesel engine repair (e.g., Medium-Heavy Truck Certification - T-Series) is desirable
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and technical manuals
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
