Shop Mechanic (Ariel Equipment Experience Required

As a Shop Mechanic, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain forklifts and heavy equipment while ensuring the highest levels of reliability and performance

• Inspect lift trucks and equipment to determine repair need
• Perform repairs on gasoline, diesel, and propane-powered equipment with minimal supervision
• Diagnose and repair cooling, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and exhaust systems
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete preventive maintenance services to maximize fleet performance and uptime
• Operate equipment to test, troubleshoot, and verify repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
• Support parts department activities, including shipping and receiving freight
• Respond to service calls and assist customers when the Service Manager is unavailable
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Hands-on experience with Ariel equipment (Required)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair, hydraulics, and heavy equipment maintenance
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing, stooping, bending, and kneeling

• Vocational training or formal education in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, or related fields
• Welding experience
• Experience servicing forklifts, industrial equipment, or heavy machinery
