HVAC Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide quality customer service while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
• Test system performance and ensure proper operation
• Replace defective parts, wiring, and controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are properly maintained

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous HVAC experience preferred
• EPA Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Indoor and outdoor work environments
• May require overtime, weekends, or on-call availability
• Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50+ pounds
