• Longs Trailer Repair in Beaumont, TX is looking for a hardworking and dependable Shop Hand to join our team! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the trailer repair industry and grow your mechanical skills in a hands-on environment.

• Assist technicians with trailer repair, maintenance, and inspection tasks
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Move and position trailers around the shop yard as needed
• Retrieve tools, parts, and supplies to support repair operations
• Dispose of waste materials and fluids in accordance with safety guidelines
• Perform basic tasks such as grinding, and prepping trailers, bearing jobs, any repairs needed
• Support team members to ensure efficient shop workflow

• Prior shop, mechanical, or labor experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment — lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work well within a team
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to work safely and follow all shop safety protocols
