Position: Day TMA Driver - Full-Time

Traffic Control / TMA Driver

Location: Beaumont, TX
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Overtime on Saturdays)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) Driver to join our team in Beaumont, TX. The TMA Driver is responsible for operating a company vehicle equipped with an impact attenuator to protect crews working on or near roadways. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe work environment for field employees and the traveling public.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a TMA truck in highway and roadway work zones
• Position vehicle properly to protect crews and equipment
• Follow traffic control plans and supervisor instructions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain awareness of surrounding traffic conditions at all times
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred but not required, if applicable)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work extended hours, including overtime on Saturdays
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work in high-traffic environments
