Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and transfer inventory within the system from one location to another. Responsibilities include distributing materials and supplies across campus, receiving, logging, packing, and delivering packages, materials, and surplus items, and fulfilling campus-wide logistical requests. The position also involves operating equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and motorized pallet jacks and any other duties that may be assigned.

- Delivers and picks up packages from the campus post office and occasionally from departments. Pick up surpluses such as office equipment and computers from departments and take them to storage.
- This job title moves heavy supplies and equipment that range from 75 to 4,000 pounds. Heavy surplus items on palettes from the warehouse to campus by operating a forklift.
- This job title performs related duties by scheduling bulk deliveries for departments, delivering overnight packages to departments on campus, and utilizing the Pitney Bowes tracking systems for accurate tracking and documentation. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, purchasing support, or logistics.
- Valid driver's license and forklift certification.
Desired
Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, purchasing support, or logistics.
- Knowledge of state procurement guidelines.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to track multiple orders and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and vendor coordination skills.
This position may require heavy lifting, exerting over 100 lbs. occasionally, 50-100 lbs. frequently, or up to 10-20 lbs. constantly.
Job ConditionsThis position is a combination of office and warehouse and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
