Logistics Coordinator – Data Center Construction

The Logistics Coordinator plays a central role on a data center construction site by managing how materials are delivered, unloaded, stored, moved, and staged so that trades have the right materials in the right place at the right time. This position focuses on unloading and moving construction and electrical materials, keeping them organized in designated areas, and working closely with onsite Electricians to ensure they have the supplies needed to complete their work efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities
  • Unload construction and electrical supply materials as they arrive on the job site and move them safely to designated storage or staging areas.
  • Organize, label, and maintain material storage areas so that items are easy to locate and access for field teams.
  • Coordinate closely with onsite Electricians to understand upcoming work and ensure they receive the correct materials and equipment when needed.
  • Handle and move electrical supply equipment and other construction materials throughout the site using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Support day-to-day site logistics, including material flow, staging, and housekeeping to keep work areas clear, safe, and efficient.
  • Communicate effectively with field leadership, site supervisors, and other trades to understand priorities and adjust material deliveries and staging accordingly.
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability, arriving on time and working full scheduled shifts to support project timelines.
  • Follow all site safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to leadership.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with job site coordinator leads and other logistics staff to ensure smooth operations and support large-scale data center project activities.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of consistent work history that demonstrates reliability, good attendance, and strong work ethic.
  • Experience with logistics, general labor, or material handling on construction or similar job sites.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Proven ability to unload, move, and stage electrical supply equipment and other construction materials on a job site.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with Electricians, leadership, and diverse site personnel.
  • Ability to follow directions, adapt to changing priorities, and support project deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in varying and sometimes challenging weather conditions.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment at all times.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting large construction projects or data center builds is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with basic construction site practices, including staging, housekeeping, and safe material handling.
  • Ability to collaborate within a structured team environment that includes job site coordinator leads and other logistics personnel.

You work on an active construction job site at a data center, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
