** Position Overview
** Apex Systems is seeking Level 2 (L2) Technicians to support Corporate Network Support (Corp Net) services within Meta’s data center environment in Beaver Dam, WI. This role focuses on post-production operations supporting facilities WiFi, AV systems, physical security systems, corporate network connectivity, and physical layer infrastructure including both fiber optic and copper cabling (patching, troubleshooting, and repair).
** Key Responsibilities**- Resolve service tickets related to WiFi, AV systems, security systems, and network connectivity - Perform break/fix troubleshooting using standard procedures - Conduct cable tracing, patching, and physical layer troubleshooting - Perform fiber optic cable support including patching, tracing, inspection, and basic repair - Perform copper cable support including patching, termination validation, and troubleshooting (Cat5e/Cat6) - Troubleshoot fiber and copper connectivity issues (signal loss, mispatching, physical faults) - Perform fiber and copper tracing to validate connectivity paths and identify routing issues - Ensure proper handling, labeling, and protection of all cabling - Escalate complex issues to L3 or engineering teams - Maintain accurate ticket documentation
** Required Qualifications**- 2–5 years IT support or data center experience - Networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, switching) - WiFi troubleshooting experience - Hands-on experience with fiber optic and copper cabling, patching, and tracing - Basic troubleshooting of physical layer issues (fiber and copper) - Experience in ticket-based support environments
** Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with AV and security systems

- Experience with fiber repair processes and copper termination basics - Experience using fiber tools (OTDR, light meters) and copper testing tools - Structured cabling knowledge - Certifications (Network+, CCNA) Candidates must be comfortable performing fiber and copper cable tracing, identification, and physical layer troubleshooting in a large-scale data center environment.
