Position: Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Material Handler

Richelieu Foods, Inc. is a leading national private label and contract packing food manufacturer focused on frozen pizza.

We have two manufacturing facilities located in IL and WI. We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers. We have an immediate opening for Material Handler (2nd Shift) on our pizza production line. This position is located in our Beaver Dam, WI manufacturing facility.

Essential Functions
  • Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
  • Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.
  • Responsible for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
  • Properly put away any warehouse loads.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department.
  • Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Create and Receive TOPs / POPs if needed.
  • Schedule appointments / answer emails and phone calls.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand‑up forklift.
  • The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs.
  • Positive attendance record.
  • Safe operation of stand‑up and sit‑down fork truck.
  • Basic computer skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.

Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power industrial truck. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.

Pay Verbiage

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is $18.32 per hour. This role is also eligible for shift differential pay ($1.50 per hour) and overtime compensation. Benefits for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, pre‑tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability, and life insurance.
