Grinder Operator - 2nd shift

We are currently hiring Grinder Operators for our client in Beaver Dam! Candidates who have machine operator experience are encouraged to apply. Apply now for a chance to be considered. Pay: $18.77 to $24.87 per hour, most would be offered around $19-$20 an hour. Location:
Beaver Dam, WI Hours: 3:00 p.m.

- 11:30 p.m., M-F Grinder Operator position summary:

• Sets up and operates spring grinding machines. Installs and adjusts new grinding wheels.

Grinder Operator Responsibilities:

• Places springs into grinder and monitors to obtain a proper grind.
• Inspects springs from properly ground ends and checks for desired length.
• Cleans machines and performs minor maintenance.
• Assists less experienced operators in selection of tooling and operation of equipment.

Grinder Operator position Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or when necessary on the job training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, plant rules and policies, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
